Our feet and ankles take a lot of abuse.
Roadwork, sprints, plyometrics, wrestling, rolling, standup, etc...That's a lot of work!
Painful arches, ankle stiffness, shin splints, calf strains...these are all signs that you feet are getting overworked.
Since our feet and ankles are the foundation of most of movement, keeping them healthy is crucial for performance.
One of the most simple ways to keep our feet, ankles and calves healthy, is to use some trigger point therapy BEFORE practices, runs and other workouts.
All you really need is a roller and a couple balls (tennis, lacrosse or similar) and you are good to go.
